SociSDG became official supporter of Global Survey
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They are universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy inclusion, peace and prosperity. They address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate, environmental degradation and peace and justice.
The Goals interconnect and it is important that we achieve each Goal and target by 2030.
What is Global Survey?
Global Survey is a project that picks up on expectations and oppinions on matter of sustainability, including the UN Sustainable Development Goals, in as many countries as possible throughout the world.
The Global Survey’s overall objective is to identify the degree of sustainable development to date and to raise awareness of the SDGs across the globe, thereby enabling people to actively engage.
The Global Survey targets private individuals and representatives of politics, business, academia, the media and civil society both on a national and international level. The aim is to prioritise relevant topics relating to the environment, social issues and the economy in the respective countries and to establish the urgency for action. In addition, the performance of the institutions in each country will be assesed.
The Global Survey is carried out by Schlange and Co. (S&C), a German consultancy for sustainability, and Yale University’s Center for Business and the Environment. The project started in September 2018 and is financed by the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Everyone can become official supporter and spread the world about sustainability. Take the survey here.
